Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said on Tuesday, "We live in a challenging area - and we can meet the challenge. We strike our enemies when necessary, and we are capable of striking them even more."
Speaking at a pre-Rosh Hashana toast with employees of the Prime Minister's Office, he continued, "But I have to tell you that while we are doing this, we are gaining friends from around the world and within the region here. They see our power, they see our commitment to protect our country, to develop it, to turn it into an economic and technological force, a military and intelligence force, and that brings us friends."
