Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman has accepted the recommendation of a search committee to appoint retired brigadier general Ze'ev Tzuk-Ram to head the National Emergency Authority and chair the Interministerial Committee for Earthquake Preparedness.
The appointment will be submitted to the cabinet for approval.
