Ynet reports, that at the same time that an airstrike was carried out on the Alma airbase in Syria between Saturday and Sunday, another airstrike hit an Iranian convoy near the Iraqi-Syrian-Jordanian border triangle. At least eight people including one Iranian, four Syrians, and Iraqis and Afghanis were killed. Eleven more people were reportedly injured in the attack.
The attack took place in the area of the al-Tanf base, which the US established two years ago in Syria, and serves US-led coalition forces as a command center in the fight against ISIS.
