An attempted attack was thwarted this morning near the settlement of Tekoa in the east of Gush Etzion after an Arab tried to attack a Jewish resident with an iron bar. No injuries were reported.
The IDF, in an official statement, said: "A short time ago, IDF soldiers arrested an Arab man who tried to attack a Jewish man with an iron bar near Tekoa. IDF forces are searching the area."
