The terrorist is a 19-year-old Afghan citizen identified only as a "Jawad S.". This is due to Dutch privacy laws, which prevent fuller identification. The victims were two American tourists. No other identifying information was given about them, the victims' injuries were described as difficult but not life-threatening.
