About 2.3 million students will arrive this morning in about 5,000 schools and kindergartens throughout the country for the start of the school year.
According to Ministry of Education figures, some 188,000 children are expected to arrive at kindergartens, alongside some 388,000 who will attend pre-school. 1,048,000 students will attend elementary schools, of which 167,000 will be in first grade.
