Marwan Barghouti, a senior member of the Fatah movement who is serving a life sentence in Israel, strongly criticizes the Palestinian Authority's security coordination with Israel.
In a message read on his behalf by his wife, attorney Fadwa al-Barghouti, Marwan Barghouti said it was inconceivable that the Palestinian Authority would be a guardian of the occupation when it should be the bridge to freedom and independence.
Barghouti also said that there is an urgent need to hold a dialogue between all members of the Fatah Central Committee and members of the Hamas political bureau in preparation for a national conference to discuss a comprehensive strategic partnership at the stage of national liberation.
