The precedent-setting decision of the Jerusalem District Court that the Mitzpeh Kramim in Binyamin should be regulated is a source of great dissatisfaction with the Arab camp.
The court held that the arrangement could be carried out by means of a regulation that prohibits settlement on private land and on condition that the transaction was executed in good faith.
The official news agency of the Palestinian Authority, Wafa, called the court's decision "a new Israeli method of stealing the land and preparing the settlement."
The Palestinian Authority Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the decision was further evidence that "the Israeli court is an integral part of the occupation regime" and that its decisions are political and "intended to establish the racist regime in occupied Palestine."
The announcement further emphasized that the entire town is illegal and that the court's decision constitutes an attack on international law.
