The police arrested four suspects who disturbed the peace and threatened and attacked police officers during an operation to demolish a building in East Jerusalem.
Police forces, including Border Policemen in East Jerusalem, began working in the morning as part of the police's assistance to the municipality in carrying out demolition orders against illegal structures. At the beginning of the operation, dozens of residents of the area began throwing stones and other objects at police and civilians who were carrying out the demolition of the building, during which a policeman was injured.
After the rioters were dispelled from the area, security forces finished the demolition work.
