Member of Knesset Ksenia Svetlova (Zionist Union) said, Tuesday, "The establishment of the Iranian army in Syria began in 2012 and all those years [Prime Minister Binyamin] Netanyahu shouted 'Iran is a red line.' Today, Iran is training the Syrian army, building a military industry and is firmly established on our northern border."

Writing on Twitter in response to word by Iranian Defense Minister Amir Hatami that the Iranian presence in Syria and said that it was the business of the two countries, and that no third country could intervene in this matter, she continued, "Instead of the cheap politics of showman Netanyahu, we need a responsible and wise policy that will remove the Iranian threat from our borders!"
