Chairman Moshe Feiglin of the Zehut Party expressed support on Monday for a recent reform by Public Safety Minister Gilad Erdan to enable people with a certain military proficiency to get a firearms license.
Writing on Twitter, Feiglin said, "Indeed, 'more skilled weapons license holders, more personal security.' From now on, not only will a hostile and criminal population bear arms in Israel, but also a loyal and law-abiding population. The right to self-defense is one of the human rights with which man was created in the image of G-d."
