Prime Minister and Likud Chairman Benjamin Netanyahu participated in a conference of local council heads and Likud candidates in the local elections, in which more than 100 representatives from all over the country took part today.
"In the upcoming local elections, we will strengthen the power of the Likud throughout the country, thanks to the tremendous support of the Israeli public, which sees our tremendous achievements," Netanyahu said.
"In the general elections, and I do not know exactly when they will be, the number of 35 Knesset seats is reasonable, and the number 40 is a target, we are aiming there, with the help of God and with your help,"
