Police arrested a 50-year-old man from Tel Aviv on suspicion that he raped a 35-year-old woman on Bar Yochai Street in the city.
An initial investigation revealed that the man allegedly raped the girl by using force against her will, locked her in the apartment and stole her property.
The Magistrate's Court extended the suspect's remand until Wednesday.
