Chief of staff: Gaza Division troops 'responsible and professional'

Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot of the Israel Defense Forces visited the Gaza Division on Sunday and conducted a situation assessment with senior officers.

The lieutenant-general expressed his utmost appreciation for the way the division troops have operated over the last five months as they faced a wide range of challenges from the Gaza Strip. He noted that the responsible and professional performance of the soldiers led to many achievements and that they are still ready and prepared for a wide range of scenarios.
