Member of Knesset Yael Cohen Paran (Zionist Union) said, Sunday, "The climate crisis is already here and the expectation is that Israel will experience another drought year."
Writing on Twitter in response to coverage by The Marker of Water Authority preparations for quotas, Cohen Paran said, "In order not to reach the state of Cape Town - for the allocation of tap water, the government must prepare a multi-year plan for the management of the water resource. As chairwoman of the Water Lobby, I intend to initiate a special discussion on the subject when the Knesset session opens."
