Israel's ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, expressed his condolences over the death of Republican Senator John McCain.
“We mourn the loss of an American hero, a great patriot and leader, and a true friend to Israel. Senator #JohnMcCain III, R.I.P.,” he tweeted.
