The Islamic State terror movement said on Thursday that it was behind a stabbing attack in the Paris suburb of Trappes in which two people died and a third was seriously wounded, according to the China Global Television Network.
The 36-year-old assailant called out the Muslim war cry of Allahu Akbar in a challenge to police who came to arrest him and attacked them before they eliminated him. CGTN said Islamic State did not provide any evidence to back up its claim.
