Palestinian Authority sources have told the London-based Arabic newspaper Al-Hayat that Egypt has obtained an agreement from Israel and that it was currently completing an exchange of documents between Jerusalem and Hamas for a one-year truce that could automatically be extended four years, according to Channel 10 Television.

The agreement will include: lifting the economic blockade on Gaza Strip, opening the Kerem Shalom crossing, creating a sea crossing between Gaza and Cyprus, as well as initiating steps toward reopening the Gaza airport. Hamas will also hand over two Israeli prisoners and bodies of two Israelis in exchange for the release of prisoners that Israel released in the Schalit deal and arrested again. In addition, an economic fund will be established by Arab states, the European Union and the United States for the rehabilitation of Gaza.
