Member of Knesset Oded Forer (Yisrael Beytenu) responded this morning in an interview with Israel Defense Forces Radio to Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz's decision not to hold the construction of the Yehudit pedestrian and bicycle bridge over Tel Aviv's Ayalon Highway on Shabbat.
Forer said, "It's good that he understood that Ayalon cannot be closed in the middle of a week, and from what I understood, it's impossible to carry out the construction in the rain, so the jobs are totally delayed." He added,
"The Minister of Transportation will have to explain to pedestrians why they are less important. That's already his business."
