On Wednesday police in the Old City of Jerusalem noticed Arabs riding on horseback and donkeys on Sultan Suleiman Street in a highly dangerous way,,=
The Arabs refused to stop and the police managed to detain them at the Rockefeller junction.
Police then noticed signs of violence and injuries, indicating severe neglect and abuse, and therefore decided to transfer them to the district veterinarian who was summoned to the scene.
The suspects were interrogated by the police and the horses were confiscated.
