Likud MK Tzachi Hanegbi said that Israel had no reason to fear President Trump for saying at a campaign rally on Tuesday that he will extract a 'high price' from Israel in negotiations with the Palestinian Authority.
"There is no reason to worry about President Trump's remarks about the "high price" paid in the 'deal of the century' in return for the US recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel," said Hanegbi. "The essential principles set forth by Prime Minister Netanyahu are acceptable to the American administration."
"If the Palestinians return to the negotiating table they abandoned in April 2014, we will be able to stand up for our interests and deflect any dictates or pressure."
