The Eighth Convention of the Agudath Israel faction of United Torah Judaism decided on Monday that all its hasidic factions would run on one list for local councils throughout the country. There are still differences regarding mayoral races, with the intention of trying to unite around a similar decision on this issue as well.
On the other hand, the Degel Hatorah faction continues to threaten running on separate tickets in haredi cities, due to disagreements in Beit Shemesh, Elad, Jerusalem and other cities.
