Chairman Amir Ohana of the Knesset Lobby for Shaping Gun-Carrying Policy in Israel has welcomed the reform of arms licenses by Minister of Public Security Gilad Erdan.
The Likud lawmaker said, "A civilian who has no criminal and/or medical record, and served or serves in reserves should be able to defend himself and others. Such a person is not the problem but in many cases the solution. Today we took a significant step on the way there."
