During a police operation in Jerusalem, police noted a vehicle with two suspicious men inside. Police attempted to pull them over, triggering a high-speed chase as the two suspects tried to escape. The two suspects were unsuccessful in their escape attempt and during their interrogation police discovered that they had been driving a stolen vehicle, police also found various tools commonly associated with burglary.
The two men were lacking entry permits into Israel and were allegedly planning to steal cars in the capital.
