Member of Knesset Oren Hazan (Likud) has called for compensating business owners in the north of the country who were hurt by the lack of tourists, following the closing of Golan streams due to Leptospirosis, (Achberet in Hebrew because it's spread by small rodents).

Hazan said, "Achberet has dried up the north more than the drought. We have a national responsibility - we must compensate businesses."
