Starting this Friday, bus drivers in Jerusalem will stop loading individual tickets and day passes on the Rav Kav multiline cards, in order to allow the drivers to concentrate on driving and make travel safer and faster, as is the practice in many advanced European countries.
According to figures, more than 95% of the passengers are currently charging cards before boarding the bus, indicating the success of the reform. About five thousand loadings of multi-line cards are carried out at loading points throughout the city.
