Four passenger planes in Chile, Peru and Argentina were forced to make an emergency landing on Thursday after reports of bombs on the planes were received.
Earlier, a LATAM Airlines passenger plane that departed Lima for Santiago, Chile, was forced to land in southern Peru due to a bomb threat. Thus far, there are no reports of injuries or any indications that any actual bombs were discovered on the planes.
