Chairman of the Zionist Union faction, Avi Gabbai, expressed support for a ceasefire agreement with Hamas.
"In a choice between an agreement and an unnecessary operation, we are in favor of an agreement," Gabbai said.
"This does not contradict the fact that since Operation Protective Edge, Netanyahu and Lieberman have strengthened Hamas and weakened Mahmoud Abbas," he added.
