Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu eulogized David Ben-David, a Holocaust survivor and Gush Etzion fighter who died Tuesday at the age of 98.
"I share the condolences of the family of David Ben David, the hero of Gush Etzion, who passed away. David was a Holocaust survivor who fought in the Jewish Brigade and was captured in the last battle of Gush Etzion after being wounded in battle. He loved the people of Israel and the Land of Israel. We will always remember him as one of the pillars of Jewish settlement in our country. May his memory be blessed," said the Prime Minister.
