Chief Sephardic Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef sent a letter to Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit asking him not to harm the livelihood of kashrut supervisors.
The letter was sent in light of the Attorney General's announcement that he intends to cancel the Rabbinate's monopoly in the field of kashrut if the payment relations between the businesses and the kashrut supervisors are not settled.
