Agreements have been reported between the management of the Israel Public Broadcasting Corporation and senior Finance Ministry officials to allow Israel to remain host of the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest.

News 2 reported that the corporation will take a loan and the state will not finance but will undertake to compensate the corporation if there is an unexpected external event that will result in the guarantees to the European Broadcasting Union being forfeited. It appears that the event will take place at the Tel Aviv Fairgrounds, with the Tel Aviv municipality taking on additional costs beyond the tender, according to Yediot Ahronot.
