Yisrael Hayom reported this morning that a conversation took place between Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's office and the office of Knesset member Yaakov Litzman (United Torah Judaism), during which "the Prime Minister's Bureau made it clear to Litzman's people that they did not intend to make a two-week deadline," for compromise on a new military induction law, "but that they wanted to solve the matter in the coming weeks rather than carry it too long."

From this, it appears that the prime minister is not interested for the time being in advancing the elections, certainly not against the background of the enlistment law.
