Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon told Israel Defense Forces Radio on Tuesday that he knew about the secret meeting in May between Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah As-Sisi, reported on Monday night by Channel 10 Television.
Kahlon added, "Egypt is one of the important anchors here in Israel's ties with the Arab world. There is excellent coordination with Egypt and whatever happens in Gaza will be mediated by Egypt. Egypt is an important ally."
