The Swedish furniture giant Ikea opened its first store in India last week. The new store, which debuted in the city of Hyderabad, led to traffic jams of tens of thousands cars as they made their way to the opening. Due to relatively low incomes in India, Ikea is selling hundreds of items for less than 100 rupees (5.30 shekels or 1.43 dollars).
