Former Knesset Member Uri Avnery, has been hospitalized since last weekend at Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv, according to Haaretz.
Avnery lost his consciousness last Saturday after undergoing a stroke and was rushed to the hospital. He has not yet regained consciousness. Next month Avnery, one of Israel's most well-known and prominent left-wing activists, as well as a writer and journalist, is scheduled to celebrate his 95th birthday.
