Yair Farjun, head of the Hof Ashkelon (Ashkelon Coast council, has responded to a senior official in the defense establishment who claimed that there is a possibility of evacuating residents of the Gaza perimeter for a military operation in Gaza.
Interviewed by Channel 10 Television, Farjun said, "There is no need for an evacuation. It will only be in case of a very extreme escalation. We will continue to conduct our daily routine."
