Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz has dedicated a new section of road connecting Highway 531 and the southbound Ayalon Highway (Route 20). The new road will open in the early hours of the morning and will significantly reduce the travel time from the Sharon region to Tel Aviv and will ease traffic congestion in the area.
Project 531 is the largest infrastructure project currently being carried out in the center of the country. In the future, the road will connect traffic from the coastal road to the Trans-Israel Highway, via the Ayalon Highway.
