The "gay" cell at Bar-Ilan University has come out against the communiqué signed by a group of rabbis' wives calling for strengthening the values of the Jewish family.
Writing on Facebook, the cell said, "The gay community is everywhere, even in the midrashot, even in the most religious parts of the religious community. And words can kill, burn the soul. This is nothing less than an act of horrific bullying against a community that only wants to live its life without fear of the homophobia and hatred of others that shout out from this letter. "We are appalled by the ease with which these hate words are being spread."
