The Israeli intelligence community is optimistic about the possibility of reaching a new agreement with Iran, which will include not only cover its nuclear development program but also a halt to the development of surface-to-surface missiles, a halt to its activities in the Middle East, and improvement of human rights in the country, according to the Israel Public Broadcasting Corporation.
According to internal assessments in the community, American sanctions will make their mark in Iran and change the policy of the ayatollahs' regime, but will not necessarily lead to a change of government.
