The leader of the Druze community, Sheikh Muwafak Tarif, said this morning ""We accept the prime minister's offer," in response to the Druze protest over the Nationality Law.
Interviewed by Israeli public radio about his meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu yesterday, Sheik Tarif said, "We have a window of opportunity to reach equality. We have left the rally on Saturday night [on the schedule] in solidarity with the Druze community. The law will state that Druze have the same rights as Jews in Israel."
