Attorney Avigdor Ravid will replace Professor Aviad Hacohen on a committee that will decide whether to allow Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to receive assistance from his associates in financing his legal defense expenses in light of police investigations into allegations of corruption.

State Comptroller Yosef Shapira decided today to change the composition of the committee. According to Shapira, the decision was made in order to enable rapid and efficient management of the hearings on the prime minister's request, with the agreement of Prof. Hacohen.
