The official value of the shekel declined an average of .182 percent on Monday against most of the featured currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list.
The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.667, the same as Friday, while the Euro rose .483 percent to 4.285 shekels, and the pound sterling was fixed at 4.8093 shekels, up .16 percent. The Swedish krona jumped 1.062 percent to NIS .4186. Bloomberg reports the krona strengthened the most in four weeks against the Euro after Sweden’s economic growth accelerated more than forecast in the second quarter of the year.
