President Reuven Rivlin promised local Druze leaders on Sunday to do as much as he could in order to express their concerns about equality under the recently-passed Nationality Law to the relevant authorities.
Meeting with them after their meeting with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, he reminded them he had expressed his own concerns at the time the law was going through the Knesset, saying, "I have no doubt that you are legally equal, and we must make sure you feel equal."
