Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected a proposal presented by Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov during a visit to Israel this week, to hold a peace summit in Moscow with Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas and also Russian President Vladimir Putin as an apparent mediator.
Netanyahu expressed concern that agreeing to do so would jeopardize current efforts by the Trump administration to implement its own peace plan.
