Former defense minister Moshe Yaalon told Israel public radio on Thursday, "What was done at the end of the week was proper - to charge a price from Hamas for allowing the [arson] balloon and kite phenomenon. We also saw that it controls it - the fact is that it brought about a reduction.
Yaalon also said, "I do not think there is an entity that is interested in an escalation in the north. The Syrian regime and the Iranians have no interest in an escalation."
