A Syrian source was quoted by the Lebanese outlet, el-Nashra as saying that "Damascus, which is not in a hurry to go to war with Israel, is trying to stop the military operation against the terror strongholds in southern Syria."
The source added that "a direct response to the Israeli forces will come at the right time."
