The Chief Sephardic Rabbi, Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef, on Tuesday paid condolences to the family of IDF soldier Aviv Levi, who was killed by a Palestinian Arab sniper at the Gaza border last Friday.
"You have an extraordinary right to have sacrificed a sacrifice to God, and an extraordinary right that he had a family, like you, who do everything to raise his soul in prayer and good deeds, and by doing so you continue the path of your son who sacrificed himself for the people of Israel,” Rabbi Yosef.
