Israeli President Reuven Rivlin expressed the Jewish state's sorrow for the loss of at least 74 lives in the wildfires in Mati, Greece, in a letter to his Greek counterpart, Prokopis Pavlopoulos.
"In the name of the citizens of Israel, I wish to express our deep sorrow and solidarity with you and the people of Greece," Rivlin wrote.
"Please send our sincere condolences to the bereaved families and wishes for a speedy recovery of all the wounded."
