UK to maintain EU laws during Brexit transition

The United Kingdom (UK) will continue to abide by laws and regulations of the European Union (EU) during the "Brexit" transition phase in which the UK will withdraw from the EU.

“As part of delivering a smooth and orderly exit, the UK and EU have agreed that during the implementation period the existing EU mechanisms for supervision and enforcement will continue to apply to the UK,” a document in the Brexit department said.
