At least 65 people have died as a result of a heat wave in Japan that started on July 9th and more than 35,000 people have been hospitalized.
A natural disaster has been declared. Temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius/104 Fahrenheit have set a precedent in Tokyo and the country's weather forecasting service says temperatures are expected to remain above 35C/95F until the beginning of August.
